On 19 May 2018 hundreds of members, activists, volunteers and staff will get together around Australia to hold Branch Annual General Meetings. This is a great way to meet people, engage in action, and share resources and ideas for protecting human rights at home and abroad. Now more than ever, we need to be educated on how human rights violations affect our every day lives.

It is also an opportunity for members to stand for leadership positions; to set the priorities of Amnesty International Australian in the ACT and Southern NSW region and to vote on resolutions that will shape Amnesty International Australia’s national agenda.

This meeting is open to the public so please feel free to invite your family and friends, however, only members will be able to vote.

Catering will be provided so please advise us of any dietary requirements as soon as possible.

You can view the official meeting notice and agenda here: https://www.amnesty.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/act-snsw-bagm-notice-2018.pdf
