We are delighted to invite you to an Human Rights Agenda Training with a special focus on the Federal Election 2022, followed by an opportunity to use your skills to engage with Members of Parliament and candidates in South Australia.

It’s a great opportunity for Amnesty activists and members of the diaspora communities in SA to connect with Senators in the State, at a prime time before the upcoming federal election. Barbara Pocock from the Greens has confirmed her attendance with other Senators TBA.

The training will be of particular interest to those campaigning on international human rights issues, climate change, women’s rights, refugees, and LGBTQIA+ rights. And of course, to our friends and partners in the diaspora communities, we work with and for, including the Afghans, Uyghurs, Tibetans, Hong Kongers, Burmese, Tigrayans, West Papuans and Palestinians.

When: Friday 22 April 2022, 12pm – 4pm (Central Australia Time)
Where: The Jade, 142-160 Flinders St, Adelaide SA 5000
