Join us for an evening of letter writing for Amnesty’s Write For Rights campaign and Oxfam’s What She Makes campaign.
We will provide all of the information and resources, so whether you’re involved with Amnesty or Oxfam, or new to activism, come along (and bring some pals), make friends and hang out with like minded people, while defending human rights and tackling poverty together!
Your words have the power to free people from human rights abuses. As part of Amnesty’s Write For Rights campaign, we will be writing letters to defend brave women around the world who are risking it all to protect the rights of others.
With your voice demanding action, Oxfam’s What She Makes campaign calls on big clothing brands pay the women who make our clothes a living wage. We will be writing letters to the CEO of a big Australian brand, to urge them to take the crucial next step in creating a fairer fashion industry.
We’ll be at the Amnesty Action Centre in Teneriffe from 6:00pm to 8:30pm on 14 November, come join us and make a difference. Feel free to come later or leave early if you have other commitments!
