Thursday 10th October is the 17th World Day Against the Death Penalty

Join Mount Lawley Action Group at 5pm in Yagan Square to shine a light on the forgotten children whose parents have been sentenced to death or executed

Children of parents facing execution are often the unseen and forgotten victims of this cruel and degrading punishment. The emotional and psychological burden can last a lifetime, and the trauma that these children inevitably carry is an abuse of their human rights.

There will be a short work of street theatre scripted by poet Afeif Ismail, delivered by local activists, with supporting art work by Sheree Barber
