The situation on Manus is again reaching crisis point, as the situation there and on Nauru grows more desperate. Join the Big March for Refugees and build the pressure to #BringThemHere.

The Australian government has declared it will close the Manus detention centre by 31 October, leaving the refugees stuck on the island and in danger. In the meantime, pressure on the refugees to leave Manus is growing daily as Immigration bulldozes compounds and shuts off power and water. But it is not safe for refugees outside in the community on Manus Island.

No one will be resettled in the US until October at the earliest, with the US quota for the year already full. In November, it will be a year since the deal was announced. The delay puts more and more question marks over the deal and only adds to the torment for the refugees. Even if it goes ahead, hundreds will be left behind on Manus and Nauru.

So join the march by walking, rolling or riding and put pressure on the government to #BringThemHere.
