A family-friendly fun-packed event to celebrate the launch of the ZamZam Foundation’s very first book! This book is designed to assist new Australian residents from Afghanistan settle into Australian life.
The book has been a collaborative effort over many months, written by members of the Afghan community in Australia.
The event will feature an insightful discussion, with Virginia Haussegger and Dr Nilofar Ibrahimi, former Member of Parliament of Afghanistan and young women from the Afghan community in Canberra to discuss why this book is so important, and why it is essential that we maintain focus on women’s rights in Afghanistan.
Amnesty International Feminist network is supporting the event.
