The Amnesty International Fremantle Group invites you to learn the the truth about offshore detention centers.
Chasing Asylum is a documentary by Oscar winning director Eva Orner. It tells the story of Australia’s treatment of asylum seekers and refugees, examining the human, political, financial and moral impact of current and previous policies.
This is your chance to discover the dangerous trip those seeking asylum must go through. It’s an opportunity to put yourself in the shoes of an asylum seeker as these corageous individuals make their journey.

This is the unique chance to be a part of an ever growing global movement that looks to protect and empower refugees.

If you want to join like-minded people who think more should be done to protect the basic rights of refugees, then join us for this film screening.

Featuring special guest speaker Caroline Fleay. Dr Caroline Fleay is a lecturer at the Centre for Human Rights Education at Curtin University. She conducts research into Australian policy and human rights, transnational activism and human rights, and the rights of people seeking asylum.
