In 2017 we need Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to announce a national plan of action on youth justice.
This ensures that the Federal Government is taking responsibility for reducing the number of Indigenous kids being locked up. State governments also need to have a consistent approach in achieving this. The Federal Government can help make this happen with a national plan of action.
Our strategy is for Amnesty activists will take part in a nationwide blitz from September 1. There will be a range of tactics to influence the people who can pressure the PM. This webinar is for our action groups and activist leaders that are campaigning on Community is Everything in 2017 to explain the strategy and tactics. We will give you all the resources and information you need to start preparing for the blitz period later this year.

We will split this webinar into two groups, activists that are in the target electorates and activists that are not. Both groups have important roles to play, but very different strategies which will be determined by your location.
