Participants arrive any time between 10:30 am and 11:30 am. They are provided with writing materials, chair and table, and information sheets on a selection of Amnesty International’s cases and guidelines on writing letters in support of these cases. Completed letters are collected and sent to Amnesty’s Sydney office to be forwarded to the appropriate government authorities.
There will also be one or two computers giving people the option of supporting online petitions.
Light refreshments, such as soup and sandwiches, will be provided.
