Want to take action on human rights, but don’t really know where to start? Feeling overwhelmed by the constant news of human rights crises all around the world?

We’ve been challenging injustice since the 1960s, and a big part of why we can have the impact that we do is thanks to the work of our amazing activists and volunteers all around the country – because the power of the people is stronger than the people in power.

At our next Get Active session we’ll be chatting through how we’ve been able to use people power to achieve vital human rights wins, and more importantly how you can get more involved in the fight to defend human rights.

It’ll be a relaxed and informal session and is great for anyone at any stage of their activism journey. Whether you’re brand new to the world of activism and volunteering and are still figuring out how you want to make a difference, or you’re a veteran activist with a basement full of posters from protests of the past, this session will give you a bunch of different options for you to start challenging injustice!

We’re excited to meet you and welcome you to the Amnesty community!

This is an online event which is starting at 6pm in WA, 7.30pm in the NT and SA and 8pm everywhere else.
