Want to change the conversation and help to ensure that Human Rights aren’t used for political gain?

Join activists from across the country for a Day of Action where we will be writing to election candidates about the importance of upholding and advocating for human rights. Together, we are aiming to send 5000 emails to election candidates across the country.

The Federal election conversation has shone a negative light on attitudes to many human rights issues including, Indigenous, LGBTIQ+ and Women’s rights, Refugees and climate justice among many others. It doesn’t have to be this way and together, we can use our collective voice to change the conversation.

Join us online Saturday May 7 to learn about Human Rights issues that have been part of the election conversation and how you can meaningfully write to candidates for maximum impact. Then, join activists from action groups based on the issues you care about to help you write your emails.

You will be provided with all of the tools, information and support you may need on the day.
