You can enter by writing and performing a song with a human rights message. Winners get to perform their song at the festival closing event attended by all festival goers. Come enjoy the music and learn about Amnesty’s human rights work at the group’s information stall.

The Palm Creek Folk Festival attracts more than 2000 people each year. For the past ten years the Townsville Amnesty Action Group have hosted a songwriting competition at the festival.
