The collective action of women has seen major improvements for our rights in Australia – from winning the vote to achieving equal pay and implementing anti-discrimination laws.
But there is more work to be done. Women still face specific challenges in health care, housing, and the workplace (to name a few). Inequality, the gender pay gap and family and domestic violence all hold women back.
We can do better. But its going to take all of us working together.
