Amnesty International Australia invites you to join us in the Brisbane Action Centre in celebrating the launch of our 2017-2020 Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) in National Reconciliation Week.

This year’s National Reconciliation Week marks two historic dates – the 50th anniversary of the 1967 referendum and the 25th anniversary of the Mabo decision – so it is an appropriate time for Amnesty to deepen our commitment to national reconciliation. We welcome you to join us.

Reconciliation is important to Amnesty International – it speaks to the very core of our work championing human rights. This is our third and most comprehensive RAP.

It will, over three years, provide opportunities to Amnesty International staff, supporters and stakeholders to learn about and acknowledge our shared histories, celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait cultures and achievements and to explore how together we can be part of the reconciliation journey.

Join us to find out how you can take the next steps with us towards reconciliation.
