The event is a 2 hour online training seminar for Amnesty International WA’s Group Convenors and activist leaders. The training (led by 2 of Amnesty’s LGBTQIA+ activists) focuses on how activists can be allies to the LGBTQIA+ Community.
The event will be broken up into two 55 min sessions allowing for a ten minute break in the middle for people to move around, get a cup of tea, etc. These sessions will involve both methods of allyship and an opportunity for attendees to practice these methods.
This event is a great opportunity for key Amnesty WA activists to grow as activists and learn about key issues that the LGBTQIA+ Community faces.
