Join Amnesty International Lismore at a rally calling on the government to bring the children trapped on Nauru to Australia.
We are at a critical moment in the campaign to get kids and their families off Nauru. There has been an incredible outpour of support from medical professionals, faith groups, social justice organisations and the community, with over 125,000 people taking action so far asking the Government to bring these children and their families to Australia.
All this pressure is working and we’ve heard that the government has been transferring families to Australia in response. We are in a moment where we need to increase the pressure by letting all MPs know that it’s time to get all children and their families to safety.
Amnesty International Lismore are holding a rally in support of the campaign at 10:00 am on Saturday the 27th of October, on the corner of Ballina road and Molesworth st.
We can’t stay silent – join tens of thousands of Australians in calling for all children and their families to be removed from Nauru permanently. Please come along and show your support for these children!
