Join Amnesty’s Warrnambool Group for an afternoon with Fadak Alfayadh. Fadak is a 26 year old Australian law graduate fighting for justice. Sixteen years ago she was a refugee, fleeing the invasion of Iraq. Now, she wants to tell her story to as many people as possible, and to challenge some commonly-held views about refugees. She will be joined by some local refugees who will tell their stories. There will be discussion and question time, followed by afternoon tea.
