At 4pm on Sunday 14 August, local music group Loosely Woven, consisting of 16 instrumentalists and singers, return to Avalon Baptist Church on George Street with their brand-new concert, ‘Wired & Awake’.
The all-new program includes a couple of songs that address serious issues of our time, some well-known popular songs and some lesser-known songs, both serious and just for fun.
Instruments this time will include violin, viola, flute, clarinet, saxophone, harp, mandolin, harmonium, accordion, concertina, guitars, accordion, keyboard and percussion.
The concert is free, but donations to Amnesty International would be welcome.
