Gilbert and Sullivan wrote Trial by Jury over 140 years ago. The opera satirises hypocrisy and corruption in the legal profession and parodies the base motives of Britain’s moral leaders and institutions – themes all to relevant for Australian audiences in 2019.

This lively production, presented by Loosely Woven, will delight audiences of all ages. The talented cast, joined by a charming chamber orchestra, also perform highlights from other G & S operas.

Loosely Woven is a community group based at Humph Hall in Allambie Heights.

Entry is free, but any donations from this performance will go to Amnesty International.

Refreshments will be served during interval.
