Come along with the Amnesty LGBTIQ Group to the 22nd Annual Midsumma Pride March! The march is a spectacular act of solidarity that also champions rights, dignity and visibility.

What is it?

Midsumma Pride March celebrates difference, acceptance and equality. Join the kilometre-long procession of Victoria’s diverse queer communities! We will walk, dance, strut, sing, catwalk, placard, drag and also move together.

The march will move through St Kilda, and ends in an afternoon of festivities at Catani Gardens.

Come along!

Whether you join the fanfare by foot or wheel, with workmates or family, friends or lovers, as ally or as queer, Midsumma Pride March is for you. Contact Lucy for more information!

New Zealand supporters take part in Auckland’s Pride Parade. 16 February 2013, Auckland, New Zealand. Amnesty International believes that all people, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, should be able to enjoy the full range of human rights, without exception. By highlighting instances of abuse against Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender or Intersex (LGBTI) individuals around the world, by taking part in events such as Pride Parade, Amnesty hopes to protect the dignity of all LGBTI people. Because Love is a Human Right!
