In partnership with Moreland Libraries and Moreland City Council, Amnesty International’s VIC Refugee Network presents a series of conversations between people who have come to Australia seeking peace and safety, with those who have helped welcome them.
The first event of the series will hear from Manjit and Najiba. Manjit Bhamral is English and Second Language Teacher and Volunteer Tutor Coordinator at Glenroy Neighbourhood Learning Centre for 14 years. Najiba was a student at GNLC and now volunteering for 3 years as classroom and bilingual volunteer.
