In celebration of the Anniversary of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People (13/09) the Amnesty International NSW Youth Network presents DADIRRI. A showcase of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performance and art. The night aims to promote a deeper understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives, history and culture, through the practice of deep listening (dadirri).

Headlining Dadirri will be Rebecca Hatch who at just 17, won Triple J’s Unearthed High Indigenous Initiative at the NIMAS (National Indigenous Music Awards). Being of both Samoan and Indigenous descent, she wears her culture on her sleeve.

The night will also feature performances by:
– Izzy
– JPoint
– Live art by Rubyrose Bancroft

And more!

This is a donation based event, with a suggested $10 entrance donation, this can be pre-purchased through Eventbrite or on the door on the night.

The donation on the door goes to the artists payments and any profit from the night will be donated to Tribal Warrior Aboriginal Corporation.
