If you care at all about freedom and truth then you must care about what happens to Julian Assange. What if together we had the power to free him? Peaceful protest has been proven to be the most effective way to create political change. Those engaging at least 3.5% of the population have never failed*.

This rally coincides with Anthony Albanese’s visit to America. Let’s be sure America knows how we feel about the persecution of Assange by rallying together at the U.S embassy and consulates. Let’s show the U.S that freedom and truth are what the Australian people demand.

We demand that the U.S drop the charges against our fellow countryman, Julian. If I get the 3.5% of people, I know will come to bring the 3.5% of people they know to bring the 3.5% of people they know and so on then we have the power to do this, even in this short time frame. Directly call your friends and ask them to come and get them to do the same.

Don’t just invite them once and assume they will get the message and pass it on. There will be free cake! There really hasn’t been a more opportune time. Albanese’s trip is following the visit from the Australian delegates. Assange is awaiting an imminent decision that may immediately force him into the American prison system. All over the world people rallied the Australian embassies to get Australia to do something about Assange and it seemed to have worked*. Now let us Australians unite and pressure the U.S to drop it.
