Be free to be you with an afternoon by the sea at Pride March in the South and Family Fun Day.
This year, our event coincides with the date of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras on 6th March – our opportunity to shine together with Pride in the South!
Gather at the Original Open Market Reserve, 121 Beach Road, Christies Beach for the 12.30 Pride March.
The march concludes in Rotary Park, 1 Beach Road, Christies Beach, for entertainment and pet parades, performances and much more fun and games!
Special shows by Ben-Hur Winter, Kaitlyn Rodgers and Pride of the South’s Drag Workshop mentors Kleo Fox and Kristina International.
To keep our community healthy and ensure our event is Covid-safe, we ask that people attending check in using QR code or manually, at the Open Market Reserve before the commencement of the march, maintain physical distancing, make use of sanitiser stations, and if you are unwell on the day to stay home.
There will be additional check in opportunities and sanitiser stations at Rotary Park.
Our friendly Rainbow Covid Marshals will be there throughout the event to assist.
