Same hate and fear, new packaging.

President Trump has signed a new executive order banning people from six Muslim-majority countries and slamming the door on refugees.

This hateful ban demonises the vulnerable – those who have fled torturers, warlords and dictators – and make no mistake: people will lose their lives because of it.

Raise your voice against discrimination and stand up for the rights of vulnerable people: Join us at a peaceful protest on the steps of Parliament house at 12.30pm TODAY to demand President Trump to reverse this ban and respect human rights. ?

Before walking to Parliament House (corner North Terrace and King William St) we will meet at 12pm midday at the Adelaide Amnesty Action Centre (Level 8, 70 Pirie Street) to get ready – and GET INTO COSTUME! Statue of Liberty costumes and banners will be provided!

Feel free to meet us there at 12.30pm if that works best for you – but please RSVP so we have an idea of numbers for costumes!

Please share with your friends and networks!
