Refugee Action Group Community Mapping Training

At our next meeting on Wedneday 25 July, Nicole Donnelly, Amnesty SA/NT’s Community Organiser, will present Amnesty’s Community Mapping Training, which will help us decide which community and other organizations to approach and engage as partners in our #MyNewNeighbourCampaign.

This campaign calls upon all three levels of government to encourage community sponsorship of refugees and make this process much fairer, simpler, quicker, and cheaper.

At Amnesty International Australia we’ve been working tirelessly to advocate for community-led, neighbourhood-driven solutions to increase our humanitarian intake and bring our share of refugees safely to Australia. In 2018 we calling for an improved, fairer community sponsorship program for Australia as part one of the Better Plan for refugees.
