Arthur Zable

Drawing on three decades as a writer of fiction and non-fiction, ranging from short story and features, to novels and memoir, and as an advocate and activist, Zable will explore the personal journeys and influences, which have inspired his many stories depicting the refugee experience.

He will also reference contemporary challenges, especially the ongoing trauma of offshore detention on Manus Island and Nauru, dedicating his talk to Kurdish Iranian writer and journalist, Behrouz Boochani, who is in his 6th Year of exile on Manus.
