Join Amnesty NSW Refugee Network activists and volunteers at Walk Together 2016 (look out for the Amnesty yellow flag banners!).
Walk Together 2016 in Sydney will be a huge celebration of diversity and a loud declaration from thousands of Australians that we can be a nation known for our compassion, generosity and welcome.
The Sydney Walk Together begins in Belmore Park (next to Central Railway Station) and then we walk together along George St to Victoria Park (It’s an easy 1.2km walk on flat ground and roads will be closed by police for everybody’s safety).
We will finish with a fun, family-friendly festival in Victoria Park. Join us for multicultural food, music, dance and games, with special guests including the Sydney Thunder and GWS Giants!
