About the play
Shakespeare in Saigon rejoices in the beauty of a language that has stood the test of time. A love story – where communication is a mixture of mirth and misunderstanding when David, an unemployed teacher, decides to teach his neighbour Thanh, recently arrived from Vietnam, to speak English using the language of Shakespeare.
