We made it!

2021 here we are with our first event
We thought we’d start this year off with the love theme!
But we wanted to do covers(reading someone else’s work) as well.

So come along and spit your favourite tear-jerking, heart stopping, soul quenching, love poem!

We are excited to feature a long time contender of our events and community.

A passionate and promising performing poet – Lexis Vy!
Known by his stage name Lexis Vy, Alex Vansilalom is an aspiring spoken word performer and writer who conceptualises his experiences through storytelling. In trying to understand his emotions in a more broad or deeper ways, he often explores the themes of connection and sentiment through analogies and sharp imagery.

Lexis Vy is obsessed with the importance of storytelling and its essential role in passing down knowledge in a way that inspires humanity. Wanting to break the boundaries of popularised, conventional spoken word and more classical, or traditional, poetry, Lexis continues to explore writing using different poetic styles and structures.
