Join us in an act of solidarity for human rights activist and Amnesty Turkey’s Chair Taner Kilic, who has been imprisoned for 365 days!!!!!! We join Amnesty Action Groups around the world to stand and protest his imprisonment and we need YOU to stand with us!

To send a powerful visual message about the freedom of speech stifled in Turkey, there will be blindfolds available to wear over your eyes or mouth whilst holding placards made by our ARTillery South Australia Action Group.

We will also be asking members of the public to add their name to our petition for his release (no stress if you haven’t collected petition signatures before, we can talk you through it or you can opt to take photos, share on social media or hold one of the placards)!

This is an event for ANYONE who cares about human rights and freedom of speech! Read more about Taner’s case here: https://www.amnesty.org.au/act-now/write-for-rights-turkey-10-taner/

RSVP via the ticket link to give us an idea of the amount of materials to bring (no tickets required, anyone is welcome and you can still rock up on the day if you haven’t RSVPd)!
