In Suitcase Stories witness stories of the refugee experience; powerful fusions of spoken word, movement, sound, light and projected imagery. Experience first-hand stories direct from the young people who lived them. Originally from places you hear about on the news, these students now attend Evans High School and Intensive English Centre. In Suitcase Stories they share with you their true life stories of triumph, heartbreak and survival. You will laugh, you will cry and you will begin to understand.
The show assists non-refugees to better appreciate the lives of refugees who are struggling with current resettlement issues and past trauma.
