Amnesty International has grassroots local action groups throughout NSW, Australia and the world who work to campaign on human rights issues. We’re an independent, global movement of people who campaign courageously for human rights. In more than 150 countries worldwide, over seven million of us stand together for justice, freedom, human dignity and equality.

Interested in getting involved with Amnesty International as a volunteer or activist? Would you like to meet like-minded people to turn your human rights passion into action? Why not come along to the Get Active event in August?

In this information session, you’ll learn more about Amnesty International as an organisation and the various ways to get involved as an activist or volunteer.

Staff members and volunteers from Amnesty International will also be present to share a little bit about their Amnesty journey.

We look forward to seeing you there!
