Are you passionate about Women’s Rights and the rights of Refugees?

Join us for our September Meaningful Movie free screening – The Baulkham Hills African Ladies Troupe!

An inspirational story of courage and resilience, that reveals the transformative power of story-telling through the arts. The Baulkham Hills African Ladies Troupe is an inspirational new documentary, celebrating the remarkable resilience and spirit of four African Australian women from Eritrea, Kenya, Guinea and Sierra Leone.

We’ll also be having the incredible activist and community leader Khadija Gbla introduce the film and share her experiences as a young woman who came to Australia as a refugee herself from Sierra Leone.

You can also take action for Amnesty’s Brave and Community Sponsorship campaigns on the night, as well as enjoy some of our free popcorn!

Check out the trailer here and be sure to RSVP to confirm your seat!
