Come watch an amazing, uplifting film, “The Staging Post” at USC’s outdoor cinema while enjoying some yummy snacks!

In a week celebrating diversity come and enjoy an amazing and heartwarming story about two Afghan Hazara refugees, Muzafar and Khadim. After Australia ‘stopped the boats,’ the two get stuck in Indonesia. While in limbo these boys build a community and a school, starting a refugee education revolution. This uplifting film shows the power of connection, community, and friendship. Afterwards hear from Shankar Kasynathan, Amnesty’s National Refugee Campaign Coordinator about the latest campaign and Shankar’s personal story. She will be available for more insights and questions during the Q&A.
