Amnesty Bendigo Group will join with members of Rural Australians for Refugees Bendigo, and Grandmothers for Refugees Bendigo in support of the National Day of Action for the #TimeForAHome Campaign.

Activists will stand in a COVID-safe fashion, two-by-two, on various corners of Bendigo’s CBD holding signs and banners.

This event is to raise public awareness of the need to release and resettle people detained in indefinite immigration detention by the Australian Government.

The #TimeForAHome campaign was launched on 5 November 2020.
It is endorsed by over 100 organisations.

The campaign calls on the Australian Government to free these women, men and children, and quickly resettle them into our community, so they can be safe and have a place to call home.

Time for release from detention.

Time for a permanent resettlement solution.

Time for a home.
