Join Amnesty International as we commemorate the anniversary of the courageous women of Iran who stood for human and women’s rights. This event serves as a poignant tribute to their memory, honouring their sacrifices and dedication.
Amnesty International NE Metro Group and the Australian Iranian Society of Victoria are partnering to host an event that will feature a series of thought-provoking activities. These will include keynote speeches, panel discussions, art exhibitions, interactive workshops as well as cultural dance and music performances. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, gain insights into the challenges faced by women in Iran, and explore ways to create positive change. AI will have an information a stall with petitions and information on our global ‘right to protest’ and Women’s rights Campaigns.
