W4R 2018
Write For Rights is our biggest annual human rights campaign. People around the world, just like you, write letters, send emails and sign petitions on behalf of people who need urgent help. Through the power of collective action, your letters, emails and petition signatures convince government officials to free people unjustly imprisoned, stop torture and end other abuses.
This year we’re focusing on ten women from around the world who are putting themselves at risk to defend the human rights of their families and communities. You can find more information about these brave women here.
Marathon
On the 8th of December, we are holding a Write for Rights Marathon at our Action Centre in Melbourne. Between 10AM and 5PM you can come by to write letters and sign petitions. There will be 10 tables for the 10 different W4R cases 2018 and there will be snacks and drinks. Everybody is welcome, so bring your family and friends!
