Join us for an awareness-raising afternoon outdoors at Lagoona Park for a family friendly and BYO picnic.
We will be joined by an indigenous community artist who will facilitate a small artwork using natural materials that families can be involved in creating. This will highlight what young people should be doing (diversionary programs, family support) to prevent early entry into prison system, and increase awareness of Raise the Age campaign.
There will also be local acoustic music and Amnesty stall with information, petitions etc. Other local human rights groups such as Rural Australians for Refugees will also be invited to have a table.
COVID19 safety plan will be in place.
