Write for Rights is an Amnesty global initiative designed to generate letters and online actions in support of high priority cases.
This event will provide a chance to write letters on behalf of prisoners of conscience and other human rights supporters in a range of countries, over a delicious dinner!
We will also have a chance to meet other Amnesty supporters and socialise.
Sutherland Shire Amnesty holds a Write for Rights event every year, and we know that our letters and emails can make a difference.
We encourage our members and supporters to attend if they can, because we believe that letter writing is still at the heart of Amnesty’s work.
