Write for Rights is Amnesty International’s annual letter writing campaign, which happens in November and December each year, around the world.
We write to protest the situation of those whose human rights have been attacked. A simple action like a letter of solidarity or a letter to a government official, when sent en masse, can have a huge impact.
Every year, real change happens because of your letters and actions. People wrongfully imprisoned are released. Torturers are brought to justice. And people in prison are treated more humanely.
Become part of this event by attending our Write for Rights!
The Amnesty International NSW Women’ Network will hold its informal end of year celebration and an evening of letter writing in support of Write for Rights.
Food and drinks can be purchased at the venue.
