| Every December around Human Rights Day, Amnesty International holds Write for Rights events in support of individuals at risk of human rights abuse. Writing letters to authorities on behalf of oppressed individuals is core work for Amnesty and many groups hold Write for Rights events around the calendar.
The Sutherland Action Group is holding a letter writing event over a light lunch at Engadine Uniting Church. All are welcome to help show those who trample on human rights that sometimes the pen is indeed mightier than the sword. |
